Coaching Staff's Welcome Message,

Parents and players, welcome to BVMS 7th grade football and the first school based step in the Brandon Valley football program.  We look forward to coaching your children and helping them acquire, gain, and further develop their skills as individuals, students, & football players.  Players will be running and using the same playbooks and schemes as our high school teams (albeit modified for the middle school level).  You will find information about required forms, important pieces of information and policies, as well as our complete game schedule using the tabs of our website.    

 

Our head coach is Troy Sturgeon.  Coach Sturgeon teaches 6th grade Social Studies at Brandon Valley Intermediate School.  Coach Sturgeon coaches the offense for the BVMS 7th grade team.  One of The 7th grade assistant coaches is Matt Bigelow.  Coach Bigelow teaches English at Brandon Valley High School.  Coach Bigelow coaches the defense for the BVMS 7th grade team.  The other assistant coach is Ben Alberts.  Coach Alberts teaches physical education at Brandon Valley High School and will be working with the 7th grade defense and special teams.  Additionally, Coach Brenton Minish is returning to the BVMS staff and will be assisting the 7th and 8th grade teams.
