Coaching Staff's Welcome Message
Parents and players, welcome to BVMS 8th grade football. We look forward to coaching your children and helping them acquire and further develop their skills as individuals, students, & football players. Players will be running and using the same playbooks and schemes as our high school teams (albeit modified for the middle school level). You will find information about required forms, important pieces of information and policies, as well as our complete game schedule by using the tabs of our website.
Our head coach is Matt Reese. Coach Reese is one of the four school psychologists that provide services to students throughout the Brandon Valley School District. Coach Reese coaches the offense for the BVMS 8th grade team. One of the 8th grade assistant coaches is Brandon Rogers. Coach Rogers teaches 4th grade at Brandon Elementary. Coach Rogers coaches the defense for the BVMS 8th grade team. The 8th grade team welcomes the newest addition to our coaching staff, Joel Evans. Coach Evans will be teaching computers at BVMS. Additionally, Coach Brenton Minish will be continuing with the BVMS staff and will be assisting the 7th and 8th grade teams. ​
